Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CoreAxis Finance ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of Service
CoreAxis Finance is a web-based financial management platform that allows organizations to track transactions, manage budgets, generate reports, and collaborate on financial operations. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid tiers.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. One person or organization may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service to store or process illegal content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, interfere with the proper functioning of the Service, or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
5. Subscription and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Paddle. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months. If payment fails, we will attempt to collect for up to 7 days before downgrading your account to the Free plan.
6. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to the data you enter into CoreAxis Finance. We do not claim ownership of your financial data, transaction records, or uploaded files. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance when possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
CoreAxis Finance is a financial tracking tool, not an accounting or tax advisory service. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on data in the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account through the Settings page or by contacting support. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
